1. Sponsor. This Sweepstakes is sponsored by McNees Custom Knives ("Sponsor"), 61 Dubose Lake Road, Vernon, AL 35592, USA. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, Shopify, or Viralsweep.
2. Eligibility. Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of majority in their state of residence, if older) at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, and immediate family or household members of Sponsor are not eligible. Because the prize is a knife, entrants must reside in a jurisdiction where receipt and possession of the prize is lawful, and the prize will not be shipped to any address where Sponsor is legally restricted from shipping it. Void where prohibited.
3. Promotion Period. The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 AM Central Time on November 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM Central Time on December 31, 2026 (the "Promotion Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device.
4. How to Enter.
(a) Purchase Entry. During the Promotion Period, every order placed at mcneesknives.com automatically earns one (1) entry for every five dollars ($5.00 USD) spent on merchandise (before taxes and shipping). Orders that are cancelled, refunded, or returned will have their associated entries removed.
(b) Free Entry (No Purchase Necessary). To enter without making a purchase, hand-print your full name, mailing address, email address, and date of birth on a 3" x 5" card and mail it in a stamped envelope to: McNees Custom Knives, Attn: "Big Dixon Tanto Sweepstakes," 61 Dubose Lake Road, Vernon, AL 35592. Each properly submitted mail-in request earns one (1) entry. Limit one request per envelope; you may submit as many envelopes as you like. Mail-in requests must be postmarked by December 31, 2026 and received by January 7, 2027. Free entries have the same chance of winning as purchase entries. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected, or postage-due mail.
5. Prize. One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) McNees Knives Big Dixon Tanto in Blue Jigged. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $[ARV]. Prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. Any taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Total ARV of all prizes: $[ARV].
6. Winner Selection and Odds. One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period, conducted on or about January 8, 2027. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
7. Winner Notification. The potential winner will be notified by email at the address associated with their entry within seven (7) days of the drawing. The potential winner must respond within seven (7) days of notification and may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, and to provide proof of age and identity. If a potential winner does not respond in time, is found ineligible, declines the prize, or cannot lawfully receive the prize, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.
8. General Conditions. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules, and to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs its integrity, in which case the winner will be selected from eligible entries received prior to the cancellation.
9. Release and Limitation of Liability. By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor and its officers, employees, agents, and promotional partners from any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or network failures, or for any entry that is lost, late, incomplete, or garbled.
10. Publicity. Except where prohibited, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner's first name, last initial, and state of residence for promotional purposes in any media without further compensation.
11. Privacy. Information collected from entrants will be used in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy, available at mcneesknives.com.
12. Winner List. For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Sponsor address in Section 1 (Attn: "Big Dixon Tanto Sweepstakes - Winner List") by March 1, 2027.
13. Governing Law. These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
